One of my first awful trading strategies that I utilised over the years. I used a couple of trading strategies in the beginning that weren't really that great. When I got into trading I started to get more active - day trading. That didn't go too well as I kept losing money for a while. I had not strategy, no plan... nothing. I read a book about technical analysis - it showed the stochastics indicator; as price goes up it goes overbought and on selling pressure it goes oversold. I thought I finally had a strategy; I just have to go short when its overbought and long when its oversold...etc This is effective under certain conditions but it won't work everytime in all market conditions.
